Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Christopher J. Kearney, 54, is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of SPX. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer in December 2004, and added the title of Chairman in May 2007. He joined the company in February 1997 as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel and an officer of the company. Prior to joining SPX he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Grimes Aerospace Company, a leading manufacturer of aircraft lighting equipment, engine system components and electronic systems. His business experience also includes positions at Borg-Warner Chemicals as Senior Attorney and Senior Counsel at General Electric's global materials business. Mr. Kearney holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from DePaul University Law School. Mr. Kearney is a Member of the Advisory Council for University Libraries, University of Notre Dame. Mr. Kearney is a director of Nucor Corporation. Mr. Kearney has been a director of SPX since 2004.

Segment President, Flow Technology
Don Canterna, 58, was named Segment President, Flow Technology and an officer in August 2005. He joined SPX in 2001 when SPX acquired United Dominion Industries, where he had been General Manager of Waukesha Cherry-Burrell since 1997. He was promoted to President of Waukesha Cherry-Burrell in 2001 and was named President of SPX Process Equipment in 2003 when Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, Lightnin and Bran+Luebbe were consolidated. Prior to joining SPX, Mr. Canterna held positions with Westinghouse Electric and Nabisco. He holds a Bachelor degree in General Engineering from the US Naval Academy.

Executive Vice President, Global Business Systems and Services and President, Asia Pacific
Robert B. Foreman, 52, was named Executive Vice President, Global Business Systems and Services in June 2008. He joined SPX Corporation in May 1999 as Vice President, Human Resources and an officer of the company. In December 2004, he became Senior Vice President, Human Resources. He assumed the role of Executive Vice President, Human Resources and President, Asia Pacific in December 2005. Mr. Foreman joined SPX from PepsiCo, where he was Vice President, Human Resources for Frito-Lay International. During his 14 years with PepsiCo, he spent seven years in Asia where he worked in both Pepsi and Frito-Lay businesses, across 25 countries throughout Asia, the Middle East and Africa. A graduate of the State University of New York Geneseo, he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.

Segment President, Test and Measurement
Dave Kowalski, 51, was named Segment President, Test and Measurement and an officer in August 2005. He joined SPX in 1999 as the Vice President and General Manager of Tools and Equipment at Service Solutions and was named President of Service Solutions in 2004. Before joining SPX he held positions with American National Can Company, J.I. Case, Picker International and Warner Swasey. He holds a master's degree in industrial engineering from Cleveland State University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Segment President, Thermal Equipment and Services
Drew Ladau, 49, was named Segment President, Thermal Equipment and Services in June 2006. He originally joined SPX in 1996, and served as Vice President, Business Development until 2000. After leaving SPX in 2000, he rejoined the company in 2003 to serve as division President of Vance International. Prior to first joining SPX, Ladau held various positions with GE, Tenneco and Black & Decker. Ladau earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.

Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel
Kevin L. Lilly, 56, was named Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel and an officer of the company in January 2006 and promoted to Senior Vice President in January 2007. Mr. Lilly joined SPX in 2003 as General Counsel for the company's publicly traded subsidiary, Inrange Technologies Corporation. After the sale of Inrange, he was Group General Counsel for the technical and industrial systems businesses and Associate General Counsel for SPX business operations. Previously, Mr. Lilly served as partner at Archer & Greiner, partner at Jamieson, Moore, Peskin & Spicer, and Staff Attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in Chicago. He holds a bachelor's degree in government from the University of Notre Dame and earned his J.D. degree from the Notre Dame Law School.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Patrick J. O'Leary, 51, was named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in December 2004. He joined SPX in October 1996 as Vice President, Finance, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer and an officer of the company. Mr. O'Leary began his career in business in 1978 at Deloitte & Touche LLP as a Chartered Accountant at the company's offices in Southampton and London, England. From 1982 to 1988, he served in various managerial capacities with Deloitte & Touche LLP and was a Partner in the firm's Boston office from 1988 to 1994. He joined Carlisle Plastics, Inc., in 1994 as Chief Financial Officer and a director. He holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy and law from the University of Southampton (England). Mr. O'Leary is a director of Pulte Homes, Inc.

Segment President, Industrial Products and Services
Lee Powell, 51, joined SPX Corporation as Segment President of Industrial Products and Services in August 2005 and was named an officer in February of 2008. Previously he served as President of the Appliance Controls Division of Invensys for nine years. In that capacity he was responsible for over 7,000 employees and 26 operating groups that provided highly engineered control solutions for customers around the world. Mr. Powell orchestrated the turn around for the group through acquisition and subsequent implementation of six sigma and lean manufacturing techniques. His prior experience also includes roles at ABB and Babcock and Wilcox focused on the domestic power market; Johnson and Johnson with emphasis on consumer products and KPMG providing audit and tax services to a variety of industrial clients. He is a CPA and graduate of Pennsylvania State University.

Vice President, Finance
Jeremy W. Smeltser, 34, is Vice President, Finance, for SPX Corporation. In this position, Mr. Smeltser is responsible for the company's investor relations, treasury and financial planning and analysis activities. He joined SPX in 2002 from Ernst & Young LLP, where he was an audit manager in Tampa, Florida. Prior to that, he held various positions with Arthur Andersen LLP, in Tampa, Florida, and Chicago, Illinois, focused primarily on assurance services for global manufacturing clients. A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Mr. Smeltser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Vice President, Business Development
Michael Whitted, 37, is Vice President, Business Development for SPX Corporation. He is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and consummating opportunities for profitable growth through expansion of existing SPX businesses, and external opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. He is also responsible for SPX's divestiture activities. He joined SPX Corporation in June 2001. Prior to joining SPX Corporation, Mr. Whitted was a Vice President at the investment banking firm Bear Stearns. While at Bear Stearns, Mr. Whitted worked with industrial and technology clients, but was primarily focused on the consumer products industry. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Whitted held a series of positions with investment banking firms, including CIBC World Markets and Bankers Trust. Mr. Whitted received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Business School.

J. Kermit Campbell
J. Kermit Campbell, 70, is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Herman Miller, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of office furniture. Since leaving Herman Miller, Inc. in 1995, Mr. Campbell has invested in a number of ventures, including United Power Line Contractors, Bering Truck Corporation, Black Star Farms, Advanced Information Systems, United Shield International, PassAlong Networks and CORE Energy Co. He is a director of Irwin Union Bank, Tennessee Pacific and of PassAlong Networks. Mr. Campbell is an honorary Trustee and past Chairman of the Board of Hope College, a Trustee of the Northwestern Michigan College Foundation, a Trustee of Eagle Village and a Charitable Trustee and President of Traverse Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Campbell has been a director of SPX since 1993.

J. Michael Fitzpatrick
J. Michael Fitzpatrick, 62, has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Citadel Plastics Holdings, Inc., a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, since March 2007. Citadel Plastics acquires and manages companies in the plastics compounding industry. He has been an Executive Advisory Partner of Wind Point Partners, a middle market private equity firm since 2005. He was also President and Chief Operating Officer of Rohm and Haas Company, an industry-leading specialty materials company, which invents, develops, and manufactures products for the personal care, grocery, automotive, building and construction and electronics industries, from 1999 until his retirement in 2005. He joined Rohm and Haas Company in 1975, and served in various research and development and management positions until his appointment as President and Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Fitzpatrick was Vice-Chairman, an executive position, of Carpenter Technology from February 2006 to October 2006. Dr. Fitzpatrick is a director of McCormick and Company, Inc. and was formerly a director of Rohm and Haas Company and Carpenter Technology Corporation. Dr. Fitzpatrick has been a director of SPX since 2007.

Emerson U. Fullwood
Emerson U. Fullwood, 60, is the retired Corporate Vice President of Xerox Corporation, a position to which he was named in 1996. In 2004 he assumed the role and responsibilities of Executive Chief of Staff and Marketing Officer for Xerox North America. Previous positions held by Mr. Fullwood at Xerox were President of the Xerox Worldwide Channels Group, President of Latin America, Executive Chief Staff Officer of Developing Markets and President of Worldwide Customer Services. Previously, Mr. Fullwood held several executive and general management leadership positions with Xerox. Mr. Fullwood serves as a director of the Vanguard Group and the Vanguard Funds, the United Way of Rochester, the Rochester Boy Scouts of America, Monroe Community College Foundation, the Urban League and Colgate Rochester Crozier Divinity School. He was formerly a director of General Signal Corporation and the Xerox Foundation. Mr. Fullwood has been a director of SPX since 1998.

Albert A. Koch
Albert A. Koch, 66, is President and CEO of Handleman Company. He is also a Vice Chairman and Managing Director with AlixPartners, LLP, an international corporate turnaround and financial advisory firm. Mr. Koch joined AlixPartners in 1995 as Managing Principal. Mr. Koch has been Chairman of Polar Corporation, a privately owned company, since 2004, and was its CEO from 2004 until 2007. In 2004 and 2005, Mr. Koch was the Chairman, interim President and CEO at Champion Enterprises, Inc. In 2002 and 2003, Mr. Koch served as interim CFO of the Kmart Corporation. Mr. Koch also was a partner with Ernst & Young for 14 years, including 7 years as Managing Partner of the firm's Detroit office. Mr. Koch is a director of the American College of Bankruptcy. Mr. Koch has been a director of SPX since 2007.

Michael J. Mancuso
Michael J. Mancuso, 66, has been Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Computer Sciences Corporation, a provider of information technology and business process outsourcing and information technology and professional services, since December 2008. He was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of General Dynamics Corporation. He joined General Dynamics in 1993 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for General Dynamics Land Systems, Inc., and was promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1994. Before joining General Dynamics, Mr. Mancuso spent seven years with United Technologies. His background also includes 21 years with General Electric. Mr. Mancuso is a director of LSI Corporation and the Shaw Group Inc. Mr. Mancuso has been a director of SPX since 2005.

Martha B. Wyrsch
Martha B. Wyrsch, 51, is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectra Energy Transmission, LLC, Spectra Energy Corporation’s natural gas transmission and storage business in the United States and Canada, as well as the gathering, processing and distribution businesses in Canada. She served on the board of directors for Spectra Energy Corporation and as Chairman of its two publicly traded partnerships, Spectra Energy Partners, L.P. and Spectra Energy Income Fund. Ms. Wyrsch joined Duke Energy Corporation in 1999, where she served in various legal positions, was Group Vice President and General Counsel, and named President of Duke Energy Gas Transmission in 2005. Previously, Ms. Wyrsch was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for KN Energy, Inc. Ms. Wyrsch is a member of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council and George Washington University Law School Board of Advisors. She serves as a director of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory School, United Way of Greater Houston and the Greater Houston Partnership. Since 1988, she has been a trustee for the Institute and School for Environment and Natural Resources, University of Wyoming. Ms. Wyrsch has been a director of SPX since 2009.
