Rotational Programs

Human Resources Rotational Program (HRRP)

Experience how Human Resources plays an integral part in the success and growth of SPX by participating in the SPX Human Resources Rotational Program (HRRP). This two year training program will strengthen a participant’s organizational knowledge through hands-on experiences and personalized training.

Rotations consist of assignments in the SPX corporate office and business units.

Human Resources rotations may include:

  • Benefits Strategy and Administration
  • Compensation
  • Business Unit HR Management
  • Recruiting and Talent Assessment
  • Collective Bargaining and Employment Law
  • Learning and Development
  • Human Resource Management Systems
  • Corporate Communications


"I just completed my first rotation in compensation at the SPX corporate office in Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm now in a human resources generalist role in my second rotation at SPX Cooling Technologies in Overland Park, Kansas.

Before I left my first rotation, I was able to present to the senior human resources team about some of the projects and activities that I was involved in over the past six months. Having invested a lot of time and energy in what I had been working on, it was a great opportunity to get the chance to talk about my experiences and accomplishments with some of the leaders of our company."
