An example is a multi-component installation completed by APV® for a Brazilian agribusiness cooperative’s concentrated juice factory. Located in the south of Brazil, the facility was built to process approximately 8,000 tons of juice per year.
APV's evaporator and membrane filtration units were installed to help to minimize mineral water use through a high water recovery process. The evaporator was designed to work with low steam consumption and high running time, without clean-in-place (CIP) requirements through APV's patented homogenizer.
